Third spray for the apple trees

Planted a clematis (Cardinal Rouge £1.79@ Morrisons) under the conifers, the kind that needs to be cut down to the ground every spring.  Quite small so will probably take a year or two to flower.
Emptied the sin bin on to the compost heap, lots of black glistening oozy gloop, but surprisingly didn't smell very much.
Turned one compost heap into the other, lots of worms.
Sprayed the apple trees and the gooseberry bushes.  My new sprayer is very efficient.
Am going to leave the cabbage plants outside now, I've pampered them long enough.  Sink or swim.
