winter onions ripening

Is it a forest?  Is it a piece of moorland?

 No..its the shallots!

Some of the winter onions are turning over their tops, so they have been carefully chiselled from the rock hard soil, to dry on these little shelves (the bits of old shed are being surprisingly useful).

The potatoes are overflowing their raised bed.

The cucumbers are not doing too well, but the squashes in the back of the picture are producing quite a few baby squashes.

The courgettes are looking encouraging, but early days yet, these babies could easily fall off.

I have peas and beans to take home

But the runners and climbing french beans have a way to go yet...
