A nice day, cold but the soil has dried out enough to do some weeding around the onions,  horseradish and the saffron.

The horseradish roots above look as if they have taken well, even though they have been got at by slugs, thanks Beverley...

The saffron bed is looking healthy but won't flower till the autumn

I had to retreat to the warmth of home when my finger ends turned to icicles.
Still picking sprouts, no signs of life from the beans as yet..but ever hopeful.
